Space Apricity
"Travelling through the expanse of space in the cosmos, from planet to planet, each soul is on a journey."
Intelligence awakens intelligence. The symptom of the soul's presence is perceived as individual consciousness, which is limited within ones own body. The soul has a taste for sense objects therefore it becomes our individual responsibility to raise the consciousness that our soul allows us to experience. Raising our consciousness and being fixed in it allows us to experience a higher taste beyond what our senses can process. Our embodied soul remains hostage to our senses, which are influenced by the modes of material nature. The mind is easily influenced to fall victim to the modes, however, above the mind there is the drive of the intelligence and above the mind is the soul. Knowing this, we should not be bewildered by its constitution as an individual soul that is separate from the body.
The soul is not subjected to transformations that the body goes through, such as taking birth, growing old, producing by-products, and eventually perishing. The soul is not born, it is the body that takes birth when the soul takes on a material body. The soul is full of knowledge, full of consciousness and can be described as one-ten-thousandth part of the upper portion of the hair point in size. When the upper point of a hair is divided into one hundred parts and again each of such parts is further divided into one hundred parts, each such part is the measurement of the dimension of the soul. Therefore, the individual particle of the soul is a spiritual atom smaller than the material atoms, and such atoms are innumerable.
The soul is atomic in size and can be perceived by perfect intelligence. It is situated within the heart and within the five kinds of air: prana, apana, vyana, samanaandudana, spreading its influence all over the body. When the soul is purified from the five kinds of material air, its spiritual influence is unveiled. The hatha yoga system is meant for controlling the five kinds of air encircling the pure soul by different kinds of sitting postures. These practices liberate the soul from the entanglement of the material atmosphere.
In human biology, the red blood cells that carry the oxygen from our lungs, generating fusion, gather energy from the soul. This explains why the activity of the blood ceases when the soul leaves its current body to its next position. Medical science accepts the importance of red blood cells, but it cannot ascertain that the source of the energy is the soul. However, it does acknowledge that the heart is the seat of all energies of the body.
Within us two souls reside. The supersoul, known as Paramatma is a part of God, and the atomic soul, known as Jivatma. They are situated on the same tree of the body within the same heart of the living being, and only one who has become free from all material desires as well as lamentations can, by the grace of God, understand the glories of the soul.
The soul cannot be burned by fire. Therefore, undoubtedly there are also entities inhabiting the sun with a suitable form to live in those conditions. The soul has the freedom to go anywhere, to any planetary system commanding a beautiful prospect.
"The ability to translate beyond the limitations of our senses is the first step to understanding the soul and its true influence in our lives."
